Microsoft is on the move to launch its new search engine named as Bing. The much-anticipated search engine will be officially released on June 3. It will be launched with the features that can be paralleled with that of search leaders like Google and Yahoo, who are boasting innovations of their own.
Com Score, a research firm has identified that, about 30 percent of Internet searches fail to turn up the answer a user is looking for which Microsoft cited in a May 28 statement. Among the successful searches, two-thirds require that users refine their query or enter a different one.
According to Microsoft, those numbers clearly provide an opening for more effective technology. But the Redmond software giant, who is replacing its Live Search with Bing, currently sits in third place in the search race, with an 8 percent share of the market in April, compared to Google’s 64.2 percent, according to comScore.
Bing is based on an understanding of “how people really want to use the Web,” said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer earlier this week. He further noted that Bing is part of an effort to “deliver innovations in search that enable people to find information quickly and use the information they’ve found.”
The Linux Rollout
Linux Enterprise Servers are powered with a comprehensive set of time-saving installation, configuration, deployment and administration tools. Its server management tools can efficiently manage and secure an IT infrastructure. It is simple to install and configure networks on Linux Servers.
Linux servers allow you to deploy groups or subsets of fully configured systems in parallel and without user intervention. The installation times are shortened and administration costs are reduced for enterprise software rollouts.
It is clear from the Bing’s hosting history that even Microsoft needs to be served by Linux servers. This can be cited as Microsoft’s loss of faith on its own Servers. It is obvious that applications running on Linux OS outdo those running on Microsoft’s in terms of fastness and security.
The all new Bing’s hosting history is shown below.

All these recession, job evacuations, etc has begun now only. Let us examine the basic reason for global recession and its resultant – unemployment. Let us analyze the possibilities of panoptic utilization of science and technology.
One of the basic reasons for recession, job cuts and unemployment, is capitalism. Capitalism survives up on its own inner contraries. The authentication of Capitalism is the racism that exists between the wealth-generators and a small group of wealth-possessors.
The working class becomes the prime target of the socio-religious, racial and sexual exploitations that are being lit up by economic imbalance. Overexploitation lines these people up against the existing system. The entity of rich possesses all the wealth by selling those items, which are being brought in to the market because of the strenuous efforts of the poor. The working class only has to buy these items on a large scale. Therefore, profit of the wealthy depends on the ability of the poor to buy these items. This descent on profit will strongly reflect in the share market.
We were facing the adverse effects of this till now. Capitalism can make some adjustment to counter these adversities and nothing more. The arrival of a new knowledge society ruled the market with branded consumer products. As a result of that, branded consumer products entered in to the developing nations. It is through these trick plays that Capitalism could survive until this age.
These things point towards the huge footfalls of the materialist production process that is prevailing now. It is on contrary of the prevailing materialistic production that the concept of Free Software is being pointed out. Free Software refers to that software which can be used, copied, or distributed for research and development without any agreements or with some nominal agreements. Most often, its source codes are published and anyone can use them as reference.
Free Software gives the following freedom to any of its consumers
The freedom to redistribute Program Copies and thus to help the society
Freedom to customize the program and redistribute its copies.Free software is widely distributed free of any cost and there can be another same software which are expensive and sold by a different vendor. However, the program will be free to use and redistribute.
After reading this what do you think to overcome the economic downturn?
If you are using legacy software like windows, you should gradually switch over to free software. While using legacy software we are actually under restrictions that are beyond our knowledge. It will be clear if we compare the license agreements of MS Vista with that of GNU.
When proprietary software tell about Criminal and Civil courts, free software speaks about license sharing and user freedoms.
Hoping for good tomorrows
